Miami on sight
sustainable fashion show
On April 26, 2020 on Lincoln Road, we would like to celebrate Earth Day, bring awareness to climate change, and promote local action by presenting a runway centered around Sustainable Fashion. Carefully selected Miami designers, both established and emerging, will be presenting outfits made with sustainable practices and production. Fashion designers will be paired with local accessory designers to each present six looks on the runway. There will be 35 models and 90 looks total. Models will walk to live percussion played by ten local Miami percussive musicians. With this Miami on Sight event, we want to show that fashion can be eco-friendly without losing any of its cutting edge.
Even on Earth Day, being green is local. We would like to re-center the conversation around Miami and what we can do as artists, designers, and citizens to make positive change in the face of our current climate crisis. VIP seat proceeds will go to likeminded, local environmental awareness non-profit groups.
VIP Tickets will go on sale in March 2020.

Miami on sight fashion film picnic
We will be taking over the Fountainhead Studios lawn for a fun night of fashion history, community, and local food. Bring your picnic blanket or lawn chairs and your friends and join us for dinner, drinks, and a film. We will be compiling clips from the most influential fashion shows from the past 29 years from beloved designers like Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan, Thom Browne, Chanel, and more. We will be wrapping up the film with a brief panel discussion featuring local designers, fashion professors, and stylists to help contextualize the far reaching implications of these fashion movements and moments.
Food and drink will be available for purchase from local restaurants and food trucks. With dinner in hand feel free to take a seat on the lawn to enjoy your meal, chat with friends and other fashion lovers and watch a magnificent array of the most stunning and intriguing fashions from all over the world.
