Music to wash your hands to

The first contribution to the Miami On Sight digital community showcase is a playlist from Miami artist and fashionista Sol Ruiz. Sol is a producer, songwriter, musician, and stylist with the band Sol and The Tribu, a group known for blending electronic music with Afro-Cuban, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Funk, Blues, and Hip-Hop rhythms to achieve a uniquely Miami sound. Sol and The Tribu have played tours and festivals internationally, and perform regularly at the Faena Hotel and the Regent Cocktail Club. They were the musical guests for the inaugural Miami On Sight fashion runway. You can listen to them here. Find them at solandthetribu.com, or on Facebook and Instagram @solandthetribu.

In addition to her work with Sol and The Tribu, Ruiz also performs in musicals and recently sang in an opera featuring the LA Philharmonic. She plans to release three new songs by summer. Check out her playlist below.

Miami On Sight is interested in digital content from creators of all kinds-- designers, traditional artists, writers/poets, performance artists, influencers, models, makeup artists, and more! We encourage any interested South Florida creatives to submit their contributions here.
